Fascinated by planar/geometric painting

Here is a mural in progress, being painted inside the MuralArtsProgram studio on "parachute cloth"

We took the El Train for the Love Letters Tour

(I still can't find Micheal Jackson spelled in those letters)

"I had a nice dream of you"was changed to "...of us", which I find just as creepy

We soon realized that Professor Da Costa could have done a better job as our tour guide...

 

This mural had a nice combination of mosaic and paint

I loved the "building blocks of equality" theme of this one

You could spend all day finding objects in this "tree of knowledge"

We spotted alot of stickers!

This mural appears simple at first, but walk to the side and the word "IN" becomes "INVISIBLE"

This was the first mural that showed evidence of being produced with a "parachute cloth" grid

Further down is the back section of the mural

Wires connect to outreaching lines painted in the front section

The street-facing front was actually made with woven cloth which was painted

It appears to be the familiar "parachute cloth" used in the weaving

Couldn't help but notice this would be a great mural/street art spot

A beautiful women's rights mural

LGTBQ mural that was sadly blocked

Painted in the daughter of an artist watching her father paint, because she could not actually be there
